About Jeanni

I am Jeanni (St. Jean) Blume, a bridge player, ACBL Director, Registered Teacher, Paid Partner, and Life Master since 1982 with over 4,600 masterpoints.

My family moved to Pembroke Pines in 1958.  I met Paul Blume at our 30th class reunion.  We were in the first graduating class of Nova High School in Davie.  Paul and I married August 2002, and we invited all bridge players in three counties to celebrate at our reception at Pompano Beach Bridge Club.

I am constantly thinking of you and how to help you reach your bridge goals, whether they be masterpoints or just your personal best.  I enjoy bringing you special events that earn many extra points, recognition, and even trophies.

Playing Experience:

• Numerous Regional and Sectional Titles - 1985-1990
• Represented U.S. in World Championship Play - Miami - 1986
• Represented U.S. in Central American Championship

Teaching and Directing Experience:

I started teaching under the tutelage of Bill August in 1986.  In 1990, Jim Rosenstiel and Marty Bergen made a big impact on my teaching style which became "Modern Basic Bridge".  I have many teaching jobs, both privately and in groups, in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

As a bridge director for American Contract Bridge League, I conduct games which award rating points.  I recruit new members and run all of the special games (including knockouts), and Silver Tournaments for those with limited masterpoints.  I have a popular website, frequent mailings, and a monthly newsletter which all contribute to marketing the game of bridge.  I give free and paid lectures and workshops, and distribute my flyers at tournaments.  I have hundreds of supporters, and when the players come, I see to their every need.

My first directing job was at the Bridge Center with Myra and Murray Bast in Miami.

I bring to you my knowledge, enthusiasm, and care for the individual.  I also come with a built in helper, Paul Blume, Silver Life Master and ACBL Director.  AND I OWN A DEALING MACHINE!
